When comparing a premium packaging supplier in India, look beyond the first product photograph. The useful questions are practical: will the contents fit, what is included in the quote, which artwork is being approved, and when will the finished order reach you? Which exact box and interior am I approving?
Ask for the design reference and its confirmed internal dimensions. Explain your contents, how many items sit inside each pack and whether any wrappers or containers affect the fit. Confirm the closure and interior arrangement against the actual selected product. If an insert is needed, ask what layout is possible and how fit will be checked. Avoid inferring materials or performance from colour or photography alone.
When browsing rigid gift boxes, distinguish a styling photograph from the order specification. Sweets, jars and other displayed contents are styling references unless your quote explicitly includes them. Ask whether the quoted box includes the pictured insert and whether anything else must be sourced separately.
What does the quotation include?
Request a written description of the design, quantity, artwork version and agreed customisation. Ask how samples, artwork preparation, inserts, applicable taxes and transport are treated in the quote. Confirm the payment and approval terms before proceeding. If you are comparing several suppliers, give each one the same brief; a price without comparable specifications leaves too much unanswered.

Which artwork and schedule will be confirmed?
For custom packaging, share your available logo files and ask what is needed for production approval. Check text, spelling, placement and the intended artwork version. Discuss how colours and finishes will be reviewed and which approval step applies to your order. Do not treat a screen preview as proof of an unconfirmed physical finish.
State your required receipt date and delivery PIN code. Ask when production can begin after approval and how delivery will be arranged.
